UX (User Experience) is how an app works

UI (User Interface) is how it looks

Put simply, UX Design process consists of three phases – creating User Journey Map, Wireframes and Clickable Prototype.

Designing UI is a final step and it covers creating app’s mockups and animations (motion design). So designing UI means shaping the look & feel of your product.
